At Baker Street, our corgis are beloved pets first, show dogs second. We have one or two litters a year that are carefully planned to produce quality dogs. We do not breed to supply the market with dogs, but to improve the quality and the health of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. We believe that only quality dogs should be used for breeding purposes.
We strive to improve on what we have and to breed a Pembroke that has a proper temperament that maintains a strong herding drive without being too scrappy. Our goal is to produce a family of corgis of superior beauty, intelligence, soundness, longevity and good health with correct Pembroke temperaments.
The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) is NOT your local humane society. When you give money to that organization VERY LITTLE money actually goes to help dogs and cats(less than 1%). It is used for the organization’s expenses, including political ones, and to promote the idea that family pets should be a thing of the past by spaying and neutering ALL pets. If all pets are spayed/neutered, where will your next pet come from?
PLEASE GIVE YOUR DONATIONS DIRECTLY TO THE RESCUE OF YOUR CHOICE OR YOUR LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTER.
